FluentCRM Global Settings

The Global Settings panel is where you manage the main settings of your FluentCRM. Here, you can add your business information, set up how emails are sent, connect integrations, and adjust advanced options. Configuring these settings helps FluentCRM work properly and ensures your emails and automation run smoothly.

Accessing Global Settings

To find these settings, log in to your WordPress Admin Dashboard and navigate to: FluentCRM ➜ Settings

NOTE

If you do not see the FluentCRM menu in your sidebar, please ensure that the FluentCRM plugin is installed and activated on your site.

Available Settings Categories

The Global Settings are divided into several key sections to help you manage your marketing automation efficiently:

Custom FieldsAdd extra fields to contact profiles beyond the built-in ones
Smart LinkCreate trackable smart links that auto-apply tags or trigger automations when clicked
Double Opt-in SettingsCustomize the confirmation email and page for double opt-in subscribers
SMS Setting (Pro)Enable and configure SMS sending — see Configure SMS Module
IntegrationsEnable or disable third-party plugin integrations (WooCommerce, LearnDash, etc.)
Abandoned Cart SettingsEnable abandoned cart tracking per e-commerce plugin and configure recovery timing
AI ConfigurationConnect an AI provider (OpenAI, etc.) to power the AI writing assistant in the email editor
Compliance SettingsGDPR-related options, data retention, and contact data request handling
Incoming WebhooksCreate webhook endpoints that external services can call to add or update contacts (Pro)
CRM ManagersGrant other WordPress users access to the FluentCRM dashboard without giving them admin rights
System Admin ToolsCron job monitor, data cleanup tools, and CRM database reset

NOTE

The exact tabs you see depend on which features are active. SMS Setting appears only with FluentCRM Pro. Frontend Portal is added to the Pro settings menu when the Frontend Portal add-on is enabled.
